Canon VIXIA HF M31 Dual Flash Memory Camcorder - 2010 MODEL
Outstanding, The video quality is incredibly clear in this recording. It's so easy I did not read the manual, but just opened it and began to use it. It 'was a gift for someone who is challenged by something with nothing more than an on-off switch. Opened the package and after seeing the above has started to use it, and now takes great video. I am impressed with the quality. Used by Christmas and the batteries are still good. Retail value is excellent.

GREAT LITTLE VIDEOCAM…BUT…, Amazing that this little camera can produce such good video.
HD comes at a price, though — the files are HUGE! A two-minute movie comes out at nearly 150MB. It takes forever to download files from the camera, and several forevers for the FLIP software to combine clips into a movie. Uploading a full file to an FTP server for editing/voiceovers is agonizingly slow, even with DSL.
No battery life indicator and, instruction manual to the contrary, when charging from USB port, the battery charging light never goes out, so I dunno if it’s fully charged or not.

If it is a product, the potential of not always up to the Flip Video Ultra Series Camcorder was the product of this. Small, easy to use YouTube friendly, and everyone does watch the video, which in those days. The Flip Video has all the media types love USA Today, The Wall Street Journal used, and even Oprah a video to show the flip of her. It 's really a great idea whose time has come, and people buy them up, despite all their problems. Talk about their problems,Let us as we are.

Neat Handy Device, The Best In The Market…for Now, Been using the Flip for a little over 2 months now and have been loving it. It is no doubt the most compact camcorder in the market for now. Sure it does not have the advanced features of a full-sized Sony or Canon camcorder, but having this compact device makes it easier for us to record moments which we wouldn’t have captured with the larger camcorders (take them out of the bag, make sure they are charged, check for tape/dvd, etc - the toddler is no longer funny or cute by the time you get set up!). With two little ones at home, we love having this handy camcorder to record precious moments at short notice. That alone makes this device totally worth it.

Love It!, I love this little camera. Easy to use software that comes with it is also easy. They had some trouble recharging via PC, but the charger, which works well.
